Good investment opportunity
hi, i would like to find out more on the terrace/link house of penang world city..Are there terrace/ link house in this project?
Hi Jeya,
Looking at the project profile of Penang World City, it doesn’t look like there will be any terrace or link house. Penang World City will include luxury condominiums, commercial and retail spaces, business suites, serviced residences, iconic office block, waterfront entertainment city, medical facilities and so on, and no mention of any landed residential units.
Hope that helps.
Dear Penangites,
I think CM is slowly selling Penang Island to foreigners and richman. Most poor people like us running out of town to survive due to can’t effort to buy even a medium cost apartment which was mostly sold at RM75,000.00 and above (500sft to 700sft) and 1 unit carpark cost RM20,000.00. All the apartments built simple without tiles and only with Nako windows.
Penang CM instructed all shopping complex not to provide plastic bags for “Go Green’ but can sell at RM0.20 and also saying that Penang will be first to ‘Go Green” but selling all the lands to private sectors to cut all trees to build Mega Projects everywhere and not consider at all the Road Master Plan should implement first before any construction take place. Then how and where the Monorail projects and stations to be built in future.
The worst part is selling PDC land to private sector which is going to fully utilize the land with high rise towers to make huge profit and not consider the impact to people staying around. Why can’t the state think of developing the Penang World City similar as Marina Bay in Singapore with just few Itonic buildings beside a big wheel and other site seeing projects to attract tourism. Is it better to focus more on developing Pulau Jerjak with theme parks and hotels. Make roads round the Island with only public transport to give free transport for tourist around the P. Jerjak island and if possible with Casino as well.
The state government should minimize housing project and consider more on the mainland so that people won’t be congested in Island but also develop the mainland to be a healthy place to stay. The state also should emphasize more on opening sport clubs, exercise parks, jogging tracks, football field, children parks, free swimming pools and other recreation zone everywhere around island to achieve a healthy life style and to achieve the “Go Green’ slogan.
People staying in island very stress with our road system especially during office hours. This is because we do not have professionals in handling/planning our traffics. Some places having bottle neck such as Jelutong Express Way on the way to Bayan Baru about 300 metres from Penang Bridge. The bottle neck was due to overhead pedestrian cross which was not used at all. Whereby, people who cross road frequently opposite BJ Complex should built such overhead bridge but is controlling by pedestrian traffic light which make the motorist to stop and go. If all the traffic light been schcronize professionally for example like the whole stretch of Green Lane road, then definitely our Penangites will overcome at least 60 to 70 percent of daily stress. Also, not forgotten the worst part of Jelutong Express Way near Macallum Street with too many unnecessary traffic lights.
We truly believe and will give full support to DAP state government if they can think wisely and consider the importance of living not to only part of people but to whole Penangites including mainland. We must stop projects and control the limits off staying and driving orelse we will be living like bees in a nest and one day we might not move at all from your home. All Penangites want to feel the good things so that we can live peacefully and happily.
Regards,
I think you not think wisely actually ..
I trully support Adil Saksama. We will support DAP only if they think the consideration of Penangites.
how much the serviced residences & condominium?
Heard that it’s launching soon. But I’m worry about the density, it seems to be really high at about 10 units per floor. Not sure worth to invest. Anyone can share their opinion?
Freehold or Leasehold?
Freehold. Mostly sold out. Maybe have to wait for the next phase.
